1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Reborn mobile application or our website, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Reborn is a faith-centered mobile application for a guided life reset—not medical care or professional counseling. It helps you build a sustainable spiritual rhythm through structure, Scripture, and honest reflection. Depending on the version you use, the service may include:

  • Onboarding questions about your story, goals, habits you want to address, and readiness to commit, plus optional profile details and an optional digital signature step
  • A structured multi-day plan with daily activities you can complete, skip, or revisit
  • Bible reading, daily scripture, prayers, quotes, and similar spiritual content inside the app
  • Journaling tied to your plan so you can reflect as you go
  • Progress and encouragement—for example activity history, streaks, light gamified milestones, and optional self-reflection prompts or ratings the app may offer
  • Optional push reminders when you enable notifications
  • Paid subscription features, presented and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (and our subscription tooling partners), where offered

Our marketing website may describe the app and link to download; it does not replace the in-app experience.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use Reborn beyond limited flows, you create an account with an email or supported sign-in provider (such as Apple or Google). You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

Where Reborn offers paid plans, purchases are processed by Apple or Google through your store account. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees shown at checkout for your chosen plan, as charged by the platform
  • Maintain valid payment details with Apple or Google and authorize recurring charges if you choose a renewing plan
  • Understand that subscriptions may auto-renew under the store's rules unless you cancel in your account settings
  • Cancel before renewal using the subscription management tools in the App Store or Google Play (for example at least 24 hours ahead where the store requires it)
  • Accept that refunds, billing disputes, and family or regional pricing rules follow Apple's or Google's policies—not a separate "Reborn checkout"

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our platform to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Upload or share harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of our platform
  • Use automated systems to access our services
  • Share your account credentials with others

6. Spiritual Content and Professional Care

IMPORTANT: Reborn provides spiritual encouragement and planning tools. We are not a church, licensed counselor, therapist, physician, or other regulated professional. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Content in Reborn is not a substitute for pastoral care, counseling, or medical advice
  • You are responsible for how you apply spiritual content in your own life
  • If you are in crisis, you will seek appropriate professional help or emergency services
  • Reborn is not liable for decisions you make based on app content or features

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality on our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, plan structures, and editorial content, are owned by Reborn or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our platform, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reborn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or use
  • Business interruption
  • Personal injury or emotional distress (where not prohibited by law)
  • Any damages resulting from spiritual, relational, or personal decisions
  • Any damages resulting from your use of our platform

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Our platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately, and we may delete your account and data in accordance with our data retention policies.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
