Reborn is a faith-centered mobile app for building a sustainable spiritual rhythm: a guided multi-day plan, Scripture and prayer, journaling tied to your journey, and progress you can see (such as activity completion and streaks). This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our marketing website and the Reborn mobile application.
Reborn is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and operates in accordance with Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where applicable.
2. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
We collect information you provide when you create an account, complete onboarding, or contact support, which may include:
- Name, email address, and basic profile details you choose to provide (such as age range or gender)
- Onboarding responses about your life, reasons you want a reset, daily motivation, habits you want to address, readiness to commit, goals, and related reflection fields
- Optional digital signature data you submit during onboarding (for example stroke or canvas data)
- Authentication identifiers when you sign in with email, Apple, or Google
- Subscription status and transaction references from app stores (we do not receive your full card number)
- Push notification tokens if you enable reminders
Plan, activity, and journal data
To power your reset journey, we may store:
- Your plan start date, total length, and the daily activities shown in the app
- Activity logs: what you completed, skipped, or left pending, plus titles, categories, timing or intensity notes where the app collects them, and progress signals such as experience points
- Journal entries you write, linked to plan days where the app supports that
- Optional self-reflection ratings or assessments you save (for example how you see yourself across themes the app tracks)
Usage and device data
We automatically collect certain technical information, such as:
- App version, device type, operating system, and crash diagnostics where enabled
- Feature usage events needed to operate and improve the product
- IP address and basic server logs on our website
- Cookies or similar technologies on our website (for example analytics)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
- Provide accounts, authentication, and the core Reborn experience
- Show your guided plan, daily activities, journaling, and progress (including streaks and milestones)
- Present Scripture, prayer, quotes, and related spiritual content you open in the app
- Validate subscriptions and unlock paid features through our billing partners
- Send transactional emails, support responses, and (where permitted) product updates
- Deliver push notifications you opt into
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues
- Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only as described here:

- Supabase: database, authentication, optional server-side functions invoked from the app (for example to record subscription events), and related infrastructure.
- Apple App Store / Google Play: app distribution and in-app purchase processing.
- RevenueCat: subscription status and purchase validation.
- Superwall: paywall presentation and related subscription UX.
- Expo / push delivery services: delivering notifications you enable.
- Google / Apple sign-in: authentication according to their policies.
- Analytics (website): we may use tools such as Google Analytics on our marketing site to understand traffic patterns.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
6. Data Retention
We retain information as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account (where available), we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law.
